Smoke
To effectively reduce your exposure to indoor smoke pollution, one air purifier is usually NOT enough! Purahome recommends combining the core technologies of two different air purifiers (plasma and adsorption). Air purifiers designed for smoke reduction have superb odour and gas reduction media – and lots of it! The units we recommend for smoke work exceptionally well at capturing tar, tobacco odours and smoke particles. Purahome strongly recommends for optimal results, combining an Airpura unit with a Winix Plasma or Sharp Plasma purifier. If installation of a ventilator is an option, you will greatly reduce your exposure to smoke. Purahome will advise which model and how to install it for maximum smoke reduction (we have learned a few tricks along the way!).
