Aquaspace Water Filters Reduce Contaminants (AR-100)

Aquaspace is the world's first charge-modified composite blend media technology and is a direct result of technology developed by NASA. This patented formula blends and modifies various types of water purification media with other active and inert ingredients.

Charge Modified Composite Blend – Hi-Tech Adsorbent

Purahome has seen water filters that are made with several layers of different filtration media. We even saw one with seven layers crammed into less than 10 inches of space! The idea here is to make the water filter capable of treating a broader spectrum of contaminants. It sounds great but unfortunately this concept does not work. If it did, NASA would not have spent millions of dollars in research and time to find a superior treatment alternative and Aquaspace would not be needed.

When using multiple media combined in one filter, each media has less contact time with the water and can more quickly or entirely lose its ability to filter what it is designed to filter. The patented blend of ingredients in Aquaspace are all charge modified (NASA technology). This allows each ingredient to filter broad spectrum contaminants with less contact time! That is true technology-based water filtration that you can trust.

NanoCeram Water Filter – Microbial Control through NASA Technology (AR-NC)  

NASA was looking for better virus removal from water. NanoCeram pleated filter cartridges are the result of NASA funded research that creates an electropositively charged depth filter media. When assembled into a pleated cartridge, NanoCeram offers a unique combination of efficiency, capacity, flow rate and low pressure drop at levels Purahome believes are unmatched in today’s filtration marketplace. In addition, all NanoCeram filter cartridges are assembled using only FDA-compliant materials. Each NanoCeram pleated filter cartridge is designed to satisfy the most difficult requirements in water treatment. By using the scientific principal of electropositive attraction/capture, NanoCeram technology leads to a rapid and highly efficient adsorption of virtually all particle sizes. In short, NanoCeram’s NASA technology based media has microfiltration pores that give ultra-filtration performance (filtering up to 1000 times smaller than its pore size). This allows NanoCeram to effectively reduce parasites, parasitic spores, bacteria and potentially viruses in your water. Community water treatment programs and popular, commercial water filters do not provide this level of protection.

Nitrate Filter (AR-100N)

Nitrates (including nitrites) are widespread in the environment. The most common sources of these substances are human activities, including agricultural activities (e.g., fertilizers), wastewater treatment, industrial processes, and motor vehicles. The negative health effects of nitrate exposure are widely documented. Nitrate exposure through drinking water is particularly dangerous to infants and children and are classified as cancer causing. Aquaspace nitrate filters use a nitrate–specific resin that targets only nitrates and nothing else for superior performance (unlike its less expensive counterpart that does not, and a s a result, has a shorter life). This water filter will efficiently reduce nitrates from your water for approximately one year, at which time the filter can easily be replaced.

Fluoride-Reducing Filter (AR-100F)

The Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products rates fluoride more toxic than lead. Fluoride ends up in our drinking water through natural deposits, fertilizer runoff, industrial waste from aluminum production, and as a municipal water-treatment additive. There is much debate about fluoridating our water based on potential benefits and health effects, such as skeletal and dental fluorosis. If you do not want to risk the health effects of drinking fluoridated water, Purahome offers several water filtration systems that reduce fluoride. In each system, your fluoride filter uses two technologies to reduce your exposure to this hard-to-remove additive. Your fluoride filter will reduce fluoride for approximately six months.

Alkalizing Water Filter: It’s About Health (AR-100ALK)

The Aquaspace alkalizing water filter uses patent-pending media to transform your regular drinking water. It raises the pH of your drinking water to approximately 9.5 or 10. The dual faucet allows you to blend the water pH any way you wish.

Why is alkalized water important?

The human body is designed to survive by reducing and balancing acidity with alkalinity. When you eat food it is oxidized and you receive energy. The byproduct of making this energy is acidic waste. In order to maintain a constant blood pH, the body plays a clever trick if it needs to: it converts liquid acid into solid acid to hide it. Some examples of solidified acidic waste are cholesterol, fatty acids, uric acid, kidney stones, urates, sulfates, and phosphates. Several studies suggest that the accumulation of non-disposed acidic waste causes aging. The best way to neutralize and eliminate these wastes from your body (aside from exercise and healthy eating) is to drink alkaline water. Drinking high pH alkaline water elevates stomach pH. This forces the stomach to produce hydrochloric acid. When the stomach produces this acid, bicarbonate is also produced, which goes into your bloodstream. What an amazing biological process!

Acid Neutralizing Filter (AR100AN)

The Aquaspace acid neutralizing water filter uses patent-pending media to transform your reverse osmosis drinking water. It raises the pH of your drinking water by 50 times or so by remineralizing your water with calcium and magnesium.
