1. Targeted Gas & Molecular Control - These portable air purifiers use simple chemistry to control smoke and gases -- and Purahome knows the formula. The T600 Deluxe excels at VOC and formaldehyde reduction. Formaldehyde, a known carcinogen, and common off-gassing substance in homes, passes right through a carbon filter. The oxidizing component in the T600 Deluxe Model however, breaks it down and it gets adsorbed.
2. Post Filter - Airpura T600 Deluxe air purifiers provide micro-particulate control downstream of the odour adsorption and chemisorption to prevent gas media fines from becoming airborne.

The Airpura T600 Deluxe air purifiers work great because of how they are built. They provide both a vast amount and depth of gas removal media. As a result, these portable air purifiers are able to meet almost any moderate gas and odour reduction needs. Specifically, the Airpura T600 Deluxe is an excellent choice for smoke reduction in residential, commercial, or industrial locations. Based on Purahome’s own testing, we highly recommend adding plasma technology in a second portable purifier (such as Winix purifiers) in addition to the T600 deluxe for the best possible smoke reduction.
1. Tar Barrier PreFiltration - Special 1” deep specially coated polyester filter with about 4 square feet of surface area eliminates the tar from tobacco smoke. This pre-filtration is essential for extending the life of the gas phase control media by preventing its pores from clogging with tar.
Filter life: 4– 6 months based on amount of smoke.
2. Micro-Supress Filtration - These non-woven filters are located on both the outside and inside of the gas filtration media to eliminate activated carbon and chemisorption abrasion particles. Filter life: change with the carbon media
3. Gas Filtration Media - The Airpura T600 Deluxe employs 26 pounds of oxidizing impregnated carbon for removal of many non-adsorbable organics such as formaldehyde. A blend of activated carbon and impregnated alumina is used for professional reduction of tobacco smoke compounds, odours, and particulates.
Filter life: 18 months for normal use up to a maximum of 24 months.
4. HEPA Type Micro-Particle Filtration - Hepa-type filter eliminates activated carbon and chemisorption abrasion particles and other micro-particulate.
Filter life: 1 year
Warranty
Airpura and Purahome are proud to cover this air purifier in Canada for a full 5 years against defects in parts and 10 years in labour. Filters as consumables, are exempt from this warranty.
